BKMA has partnered up with Sifu Jude Brownlee and his Trained Monkey Wing Chun Academy.
WING CHUN (詠春) is a concept-based Chinese martial art and form of self-defense utilizing both striking and "sticking" or controlling while specializing in close-range combat. It is a relatively young martial art, with most historians agreeing that it developed in southern China approximately 300 years ago.
Wing Chun was created by the Buddhist nun Ng Mui, who was a master of Shaolin Kung Fu. Using her martial training and personal experience, she synthesized a compact form of Kung Fu to exploit weaknesses inherent in the other combat styles of her time and give an advantage to smaller fighters like herself.
Sifu Jude Brownlee began studying Wing Chun in 1991 under Sifu Tony Kariotis at North Shore Wing Chun, Glenview, IL. Over the years he was privileged to attend seminars and training camps and learn personally from Sifu Tony’s teachers, Masters Augustine Fong and Steve Lee Swift, both part of the Ip Man lineage of Wing Chun, as well as to attend seminars with Ip Chun, Ip Ching, Samuel Kwok, and Ho Kam Ming over the years. Jude teaches with emphasis on the traditional forms and curriculum, with a unique belt system.
He has been teaching Wing Chun and Qi Gong in Kenosha since 2010.

Founded by Master Edwin Santiago, JuGoJu Chuan Fa blends decade of extensive training into a well balance class. Styles include Okinawan Karate, Tai Chi, and Feeding Crane Kung Fu. Santiago Sensei brought a lifetime of experiences to every class, with students learning more than just the physical side of the martial arts. That training has now been passed down to the other members of the class.
Membership for this class is very selective and all students must have an interview with the lead instructor of the group before any training will begin. This class is only open to adult learners at this time. To start this process, please contact Braun Sensei and he will arrange an interview (262-412-5942).
